Our readily biodegradable spray-on formula is easy to use and is safe to use on hard surfaces including paint, metal, chrome, hard plastics & glass*. To clean up your ride, ensure that all surfaces are cool and out of direct sunlight before thoroughly washing and drying the surface to be treated. This will ensure that any dirt, debris, or grime on the surface of the vehicle does not interfere with the effectiveness of the product or cause scratching when buffing. Once clean and dry, shake the Bug & Tar Remover bottle to activate the formula and spray onto the desired area. Allow it to penetrate the debris for 1-2 minutes, leaving up to a maximum of 5 minutes for extra stubborn contaminants. After the product has had time to work its magic, wipe away the residue with a clean and dry microfibre cloth. Be sure to use a separate cloth for each area of the vehicle to prevent cross-contamination of the bug and tar residue. Follow by protecting with one of our protective sprays or polishes. *We recommend testing a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility with your specific vehicle's finish. The Bug & Tar Remover should not be left to penetrate for longer than 5 minutes before wiping away and is not suitable for prolonged contact with rubber. Do not apply in direct sunlight.
